What is myislandday.com?

myislandday.com is a free, daily travel tool for tourists on Greek islands. It answers three questions every morning: where to swim, what to avoid, and what to book.

The site pulls live wind and wave data from Open-Meteo, monitors ferry disruption alerts from official operator sources, and computes crowd pressure from published port schedules. Everything resets each day — no account, no login, no app required.

It was built with one rule: no fabricated data. If a beach score relies on a grid forecast, the page says "likely" not "certain". If ferry data is unavailable, the board says so. Real conditions for real decisions.
